Living in Thailand and Property
Purchasing a property in Thailand makes for a superb financial and lifestyle investment. Every morning you can look out and it is sunny, you can take a swim, have breakfast under the palm trees, have a game of badminton or golf, or a barbecue with your western neighbours, and just generally enjoy life!
These days more and more British people are making plans to retire to Thailand as the cost of living rises in the UK and they see that they can have a much more comfortable lifestyle. Many of our customers who met their partner through our service have been considering this option. These customers came back to us, as they already knew and trusted us, knowing we would be able to help them with their land and property acquisition.
When we first set up our property services division we decided we wanted to build in areas which were beautiful and cheap to live in - away from the tourist areas, but still have decent, like minded English neighbours on an exclusive development. Our property owners are carefully vetted to ensure their compatibility as neighbours. We can build a house to your specifications or you can purchase a show house all ready for you to move into.
Each individual plot is never smaller than 1,600 square metres (1 Rai), giving you enough room for a very large 3 or 4 bedroom house, with complete privacy from neighbouring properties, and provide sufficient space for a very large front and back garden with banana and coconut trees, and a swimming pool. But don’t worry you even get your own gardener! Our trademark on all developments is a formation of beautiful palm trees every 6 metres along the entire length of the road.
To protect your investment and conform to Thai laws on foreign ownership, your property will be owned in your own name on a long-term, automatically renewable, 30-year lease. Each lease is officially registered at the local land office and a foreigner’s lease rights are formally recognised by Thai law. This allows you to avoid the annual taxes and administrative complications you would incur by setting up a Company for the purpose.
Most people choose to buy for retirement or as a holiday home. Whatever your reason, running your superb house in Thailand will cost less than £100 per month, making it extremely affordable. You will also be surprised to learn that the average cost of one of these luxury properties is £75,000 for a 3 bedroom house including both a master and second ensuite. An 8 x 4 metre swimming pool will cost an additional £12,000.
