Membership Terms and Conditions
We impose certain conditions upon your Membership to ensure the safety and comfort of all members, and also for the stability and security of our lady members. The Terms below will ensure you receive the best results and guaranteed success.
1 - Once you have joined the Membership we would expect you to receive correspondence from any of our UK or Thailand based lady members who have chosen you from your Membership card. You should always be courteous in your replies.
2 - You must notify us if you wish to meet any Thai lady members in Thailand, as this must be supervised by us. There are no charges for this supervision it is merely for the safety and comfort of all parties concerned.
3 - This membership is only available to customers who are seeking a serious permanent relationship with a true traditional Thai lady and possibly marriage. It is not available for pen friends or holiday companions.
4 - We guarantee you will meet your ideal partner through our services, and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, we will continue to introduce you to our lady members and as many contacts as you require at no extra cost or you will be entitled to a full Membership refund!
5 - The only exceptions to our “Guarantee” in clause 4 is firstly, you are not looking to replace a previous relationship, which of course is impossible; secondly, you are not looking for an absolutely faultless partner, which you will never find. Thirdly, you must be prepared to travel to meet potential lady members if necessary. Finally, if you meet a lady independent of our Membership service.
6 - Our Thai lady members are traditional in their cultural ways and under no circumstances must close personal relationships be entered into and sharing hotel rooms with any lady members is prohibited unless you have spent a reasonable amount of time carefully getting to know one another and you both feel committed to a future together. The utmost care and respect to all Thai lady members and their culture must be shown at all times.
7 - It is expected that you pay the bus fair or small transport costs for any lady member who travels to meet you in Thailand.
8 - You must not sit back and wait for ladies to choose you from your Membership card. You must choose a minimum of 10 lady members from the initial 200 + contacts we provide with your membership. Each letter need only be very short, stating that you saw the lady’s details through Thailand Connections and that you were very interested in learning more about her. Enclose a photograph of yourself in each letter and then wait for the replies.
9 - You must accept that the number of letters you receive from UK Thai ladies is limited as obviously the number of Thai lady members in Thailand is far greater. Therefore, upon joining our membership you should be prepared to travel if your ideal partner contacted you from Thailand but was not eligible to travel to visit you for a holiday.
10 - All Thai lady contact information provided must never be passed on to any third party.
11 - Thailand Connections have to ensure, after you meet a lady member for the first time, that all services such as, Immigration, Marriage Licence and all the free help and advice regarding Thai Weddings, Dowries etc is provided professionally and properly. We cannot allow customers to put their relationship or the future of our lady member unknowingly in jeopardy by unprofessionally tackling such complex processes alone. For this reason Thailand Connections impose the condition that all services regarding our lady members must be carried out by us. We will match the charges of any other agency to ensure that you always receive the most competitively priced services.
12 - When providing us with personal documentation to assist with marriage or Immigration services the greatest of care, confidentiality and responsibility will be taken with these documents. However, Thailand Connections cannot be held responsible for documents in the post or whilst in the possession of the Embassy/Consulate.
13 - With respect to Data Protection we have your permission to check your flight details with the agent for the purpose of confirming your ground arrangements.
14 - Customers who travel to Thailand and meet one of our lady members and wish to continue in any form of contact/relationship with any lady member must have adopted the correct procedure upon returning to the UK. This procedure consists of paying the Introduction fee of £649 for us to remove the lady member from our Membership. Automatically you will then also be provided with all the vital information regarding the Immigration procedure to tie in correctly with your Thai departure Customs stamp on your passport. Then, free of charge, the Thai offices will carry out your partner’s Immigration Visa to the UK when/if required. This will ensure the lady can be absolutely sure of her future in this relationship and the lady will receive no further introductions or letters.
15 - All gentlemen members must make the time available, no later than the second visit to meet a lady, to have what we call a Ground Rule Chat. This is a free service and with the help of our unbiased staff, who speak fluent English and Thai at the Korat office, you and your partner can be absolutely clear of your commitment to each other.
The Membership service involves a great deal of emotion when developing a relationship, which is why these Membership Terms and Conditions are so important to ensure the correct focus by all members, and for the safety and consideration afforded to all said members. We are pleased to say rarely do we need to enforce any of the Terms and Conditions but we reserve the right to cancel your Membership if any of the Terms and Conditions are compromised and terminate any procedure.
